This years Belmont Stakes should be very entertaining. For the good of thoroughbred racing I sincerely hope Big Brown wins and that we, after 30 years, once again, have a Triple Crown Winner...and some of you witness a truly rare and special historical event.......

Big Brown, judging from the profiles, does have a chance, and a good chance at that, BUT, not a 2-5 chance as the odds would have it. This race is much more competitive than it seems, even with the scratch of Casino Drive..... Ready's Echo has the best chance but Tale of Ekati, Dennis of Cork, Da' Tara and Anak Nakal cannot be excluded from pulling off the upset. Icabad Crane, Macho Again and Guadalcanal seem to be overmatched here......

Although I will be wishing Big Brown wins....I will not bet him to win for two reasons...First, at 2-5 it's just not sensible, and two, he will not win this race......
