Unfortunately, from a betting viewpoint, it seems that Big Brown wins again. Not only does he win, he wins by a mile...
The other horses with a winning profile are (2) Tres Borachos, (6) Racecar Rhapsody, (8) Kentucky Bear, (9) Stevil, and (10) Riley Tucker. All of them have losing profiles as well.
Thus, my second tier horses are (12) Gayego - (no losing profiles), (8) Kentucky Bear - (only 1 losing profile and 1 winning profile), (6) Racecar Rhapsody - (only two losing profiles and a winning profile), and (10) Riley Tucker - (has many losing profiles but has 2 significant winning profiles)....
The bottom tier horses: (3 )Icabad Crane, (4) Yankee Bravo, (11) Giant Moon, (1) Macho Again, and (13) Hey Byrn - show only losing profiles....
Feel free to interpret the profiles differently.....

How to read the profiles: Example: Profile 1: A total of 6 horses out of 98 (last 9 years) came into the Preakness with a certain profile (a set of 6 factors with a specific rank in each of those factors). All six of them won. (Big Brown has this profile). Profile11: Total of 24 horses, 8 won, 1 placed, 5 showed, and 2 came in 4th. The (5), (6), and (7) horse have this profile Profile34: Total of 20 horses, none of them finished in the top 4. Horses (3), and (10) have this profile......
